Cultivating community and growing businesses in 2023!

On May 5th, the Berwyn Shops successfully re-opened with on-site upgrades, new training sessions, and redesigned mini storefronts. For almost 8 months, the 12 new businesses tested the local market, offering everything from baked goods and curated clothing to artisanal jewelry and clean skincare.

 

While on Roosevelt Rd, the vendors expanded their product lines, hosted engaging events, and made new connections with customers and partners. The Shops were even spotlighted over 13 times across media platforms, including CBS News, ABC7 Chicago, WGN, and more! This homegrown project has truly put Berwyn on the map.

 

A huge THANK YOU goes to the 2023 cohort, who demonstrated great passion and determination while at 6931 Roosevelt Rd. We are so proud of the graduates and cannot wait to see where they grow next!
