How to Get Started
Application questions
If you are interested in becoming a vendor, please take a moment and look at the list of questions that you will find on the application. The application process is simple but important because the jury will be taking each question into account.
License Agreement
The Berwyn shops have been designed and created to help the businesses succeed, as well as remain accountable and secure! Please take a look at the leasing document, that you will agree to and sign before you open your shop. Vendors will be responsible for their shops and some upkeep of public areas on site.
Business Plan
A crafted business plan serves as a roadmap for your small business. It also demonstrates preparedness for this incubator adventure, which is why one is required when you apply. The Women's Business Development Center is here to!
Don’t Forget!
Please note that you will be required to enter your business EIN and upload high-resolution photos of products or services to be sold.
Selected by a jury of 13 community members.
Enrolled in a tailored workshop series with business leaders.
Located in a 12' x 15' mini storefront that is equipped with electricity and WiFi.
Encouraged to design your shop to reflect your creativity and brand aesthetic
Supported and promoted via print, digital, and social media.
Exposed to driving and foot traffic along the highly frequented Roosevelt Rd
Able to test out the local market before committing to a full-blown store
