Berwyn Shops: A Homegrown Project is focused on the growth, education, and success of its vendors and therefore we are looking for a jury committee of 13 community volunteers. This committee will be responsible for reviewing applications, interviewing finalists, and selecting the vendors that are the best fit for the Berwyn Shops. The jury may be comprised of but is not limited to Roosevelt Road business owners, local stakeholders, Berwyn residents, and prospective clients of the Berwyn Shops.
Berwyn Shops Jury Committee
Our goal is to incorporate a variety of opinions and perspectives, as well as reflect the array of prospective clients of the Berwyn Shops when selecting the jury committee.
Review, in a timely manner, the vendor application packets provided to you by the Berwyn Shops Project Manager.
Participate in the Vendor Selection Day by actively listening to business pitches and reviewing example products. (Saturday, February 25, 8am-3pm)
Rank completed applications according to the provided rubric and weighted categories.
Offer continued support to the selected vendors by attending special events associated with the Berwyn Shops and by sharing related social media posts.
